摘要: Electro-magnetic-energy absorbing materials are used to treat air filters, such as those in association with electronic equipment thereby suppressing the transmission of electromagnetic interference (EMI) therethrough. Disclosed processes and for applying EMI-absorbing filters improving EMI-shielding effectiveness an economically efficient manner. In one embodiment, absorptive solution is prepared using material a binding agent. A heavy coating applied filter substrate, example by dipping or spraying. Excess subsequently removed cured, that passage through remains substantially unimpeded. The resulting then optionally treated flame retardant meet predetermined safety standard.
