摘要: Track positioning of a scanning tape head in helical system may be adversely affected by relative offsets between elements read element pairs and write accessing synchronization patterns. Compensating for variations the position given pair data channels is accomplished using offset first detected patterns each as measure locations producing This then used to correct subsequent pattern readings taken from channel pair.
