摘要: Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy has become established worldwide as the method of choice for treatment nephrolithiasis and ureterolithiasis over last 10 years. Although initial studies showed no damaging effects waves on organs tissues, numerous recent reports have presented evidence severe acute chronic complications after treatment. The pathophysiological kidneys histopathological or tissues in man animal, also cells culture tumors are sumarized. Suspended immobilized cell cultures were used to characterize quantify efficacy wave. Extended applications possible modifications generators discussed.
