摘要: A method is disclosed for preparing β-cryptoxanthin from a microorganism transformed with the β-carotene hydroxylase gene Arabidopsis thaliana by culturing transformant in medium and recovering resultant culture. Both bacteria yeasts were successfully transformed. Surprisingly, dominant carotenoid produced was not significantly converted into zeaxanthin.
