摘要: A zeolite monolith extrudates using kaolin is synthesized, and effect of binders on sieving/adsorption properties the prepared zeo- lite reported. The 4A powder produced as precursor 5A in first stage synthesis pro- cess was different percentages carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) binding agent. average particle size distribution between 20 40 US standard mesh sizes equivalent to 0.841 mm 0.420 mm, respectively. extrudate calcined at 600 � C, content converted type through ion exchange by immersing caustic soda solution. samples were process calcium chloride characterized XRD, SEM, EDX instrumental analytic methods. Sieving test carried out a special cut kerosene containing C10-C13 saturated hydrocarbons simple dead-end fixed bed. Results show that highest purity zeolite, rate exchange, best sieving results are obtained when 30 wt% binder (kaolin) used, use small amounts CMC an organic along with inorganic has found adsorption synthesized zeolite. This profound attributed de-clogging cylindrical pores due gasification final calcinations extrudates.
