摘要: Abstract OBJECTIVE: Our purpose was to determine the efficacy of heteroduplex generator in prenatal analysis rhesus CcDEe blood groups. STUDY DESIGN: A cross-sectional study performed evaluating fetal samples from 85 women undergoing diagnosis and comparing results with standard immunologic serotyping on cord delivery. RESULTS: Of samples, 64 were tested for all alleles; one case discrepant. Twenty-one cases solely D antigen. Two novel genotypes detected population by confirmed deoxyribonucleic acid sequencing. Five indeterminate because an indistinct banding pattern. CONCLUSIONS: Heteroduplex can identify group alleles is inexpensive, rapid, does not use radioactive isotopes.
