摘要: The study presents an effort to classify the territories of a specific area, according similarities in estimated potential their renewable sources, considering also economic and sociodemographic structure geographic features. Specifically, paper focuses on area EU28 Switzerland uses as basis for analysis, data estimating energy sources collected elaborated framework project HotMaps (Horizon 2020). method used group territorial units is cluster specifically k-means algorithm. present some interesting patterns at NUTS3 level are classified into 17 clusters. analysis shows presence heterogeneity within national borders among comprised macro regions target EU programmes, Adriatic-Ionian region, Alpine Baltic Sea region Danube region. results this research meant be by European policy makers developing more focused transnational policies strategies.
