摘要: The genus Acinetobacter is defined as Gram-negative, nonmotile, nonpigmented, oxidase-negative saprophytes [1]. A genus-specific DNA transformation assay provides further demonstration for inclusion in this [2]. Strains belonging to the produce a variety of extracellular polymers that bind and change surface properties water-insoluble organic inorganic compounds. survey several independently-isolated strains indicated most produced surface-active [3]. Several these microbially active will be discussed here. All are complex, high molecular weight anionic heteropolysaccharides may require additional components (lipids or proteins) their maximum activity.
