摘要: The objectives of this study are to investigate the applicability carbon micro-fiber and nanoclay in asphalt binders evaluate performance micro- nano-modified (NMA) terms rheological properties. Due their unique characteristics, nanomaterials were hypothesized play a critical role enhancing behavior binders. In light existing research, (MCF) Nanomer I.44P (NI.44P) selected as for research. Then, these materials added into PG 58-34 control binder at concentrations 2 % 4 by weight. Superpave™ tests—rotational viscosity (RV), dynamic shear rheometer (DSR), bending beam (BBR)—were then conducted evaluating each modified binder. Also, characterization tests run on aged samples prepared using rolling thin film oven (RTFO) pressure aging vessel (PAV) simulate short-term long-term aging. Subsequently, viscosity, modulus (|G*|) phase angle (δ) analyzed, dissipated energy per load cycle was introduced estimate binders’ rutting fatigue cracking resistance. It found that can be improved nanomaterials. Furthermore, NI.44P showed better properties relative other or (PG 58-34)
