摘要: This paper presents a detailed experimental procedure for determining the dynamic initiation fracture toughness of Composite Modified Double-Base (CMDB) propellant under loading. The Cracked Straight Through Flatten Brazilian Disc (CSTFBD) specimens were conducted using split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB)system high loading rates. Experimental setup, data acquisition and interpretation described in details. strain gauge was adopted to monitor time-to-fracture accurately. We interpreted getting time-to-fracture, as well confirmed all state force equilibrium. results show that CMDB depended on rate. pattern destroyed sample indicated solid material evident brittle loads.
