摘要: Laser shock processing (LSP) of polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tools and nanodiamond powder compacts was conducted using a 1,064-nm Q-switched Nd:YAG laser at peak power densities in the range 4 to 18 GW/cm2 pulse repetition rates 1 10 Hz. The PCD were directly procured from tool manufacturer while prepared laboratory by cold die press forming annealing mixture nanodiamond, 8 wt.% cobalt, agar–agar as binder. samples characterized Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, micro-indentation, optical profilometer. Results indicate that LSP induced purification, inhomogeneity phases PCD, densification compact, phase transition various amounts sp3 sp2 carbon forms, an increase hardness surface roughness.
