Optical properties and switching behavior in Gd2O3:Er3+ nanophosphor

摘要: The upconversion (UC) efficient Gd2O3:Er3+ nanophosphor powder has been synthesized through the combustion route using urea as a reducing agent. UC studies have carried out 532 nm excitation, and samples show intense emission bands in ultraviolet (340 383 nm), blue (411, 458, 472, 491 green (523 nm) regions of spectrum. Downconversion are also observed (550 red (672 regions. pump power dependence intensity shows that two photons involved creating one upconverted photon excited state absorption is excitation mechanism. stimulated switchinglike behavior intensities some bands. Phonon assisted energy migration from H211/2 (S43/2) level to upper F45/2 F47/2 levels, opening up new channel for at certain input power, thought be probable cause plasmalike continuum ...
