摘要: Cultured renal tubule epithelia are widely recognized as a most effective tool by which to study individual factors involved in the regulation of growth and function polarized cells. The principal advantage this lies its availability, that is, large homogeneous cell populations direct access their monolayers, within rigorously controlled environment for long-term monitoring metabolic biophysical events. This article's 1 focus is review certain current lines study, epithelial cultures have contributed broadening our understanding corresponding vivo processes. These include control growth, transepithelial solute transport, induction differentiated function, pathways, expression sidedness these functions.
