摘要: We focus on the dispersion spectra of surface coherent waves in damaged semi‐infinite elastic solids. The damage region is located within layer containing depth‐depending concentration parallel closed cracks. equation similar to that for Love a coated substrate, except layer's effective properties, being deduced from multiple scattering theory, are frequency‐dependent and complex. For healthy solids, grazing SH wave nondispersive. under study induced by presence effect both magnitude crack‐concentration its profile into depth investigated. reliability semianalytical predictions also discussed through comparison with numerical results obtained using finite‐difference code.
