摘要: • Collagenase has been localized in human corneas using immunocytochemical techniques employing a specific antiserum to skin collagenase. The enzyme was found vivo ulcerating corneas, whereas obtained from variety of nonulcerative conditions, no immunologic evidence the seen. Corneal collagenase present only stromal portion cornea, suggesting that cells this tissue are source enzyme. localization corneal stroma reproduced by placing either or nonulcerating culture, indicating organ culture system may represent model duplicates some conditions disease.
