摘要: Abstract Large-scale production of graphene sheets by liquid-phase exfoliation graphite is a challenging task from sustainability point view. Certain bio-derived solvents were found to exfoliate produce single-layered but the high cost solvent always deterring factor towards upscaling process. Herein, Kappaphycus alvarezii, cultivable red seaweed demonstrated as sustainable resource for producing bio and graphite. A system consisting levulinic acid, acetic γ-valerolactone was prepared polysaccharide obtained biomass through acid hydrolysis under pressure mixture few-layered pristine nanosheets. The process scalable cost-effective biomass-derived can be recovered reused in subsequent cycles large-scale
