A two year longitudinal study of mood disorders following stroke. Prevalence and duration at six months follow-up.

摘要: We are conducting a two year longitudinal study of mood disorders in group 103 stroke patients. During the first six month period following prevalence symptoms major depression increased from 23 per cent to 34 while frequency dysthymic 20 26 cent. In addition, 10 13 patients who had depressive during initial evaluation continued have these at months follow-up and 4 9 minor hospital developed depression, 5 symptoms. Thus, duration is more than increases steadily for half after cerebral hemorrhage or ischemic lesion.
