摘要: The neutrophil leukocytes of 30 patients with juvenile onset diabetes mellitus were tested for leukotactic activity and compared age-matched controls to determine whether uncomplicated have abnormal responsiveness. mean index was significantly lower than that (p < 0.001). defect not related the duration diabetes, or degree control. Following incubation neutrophils diabetics insulin, increased normal levels. control after insulin remained unchanged. Random mobility nitroblue tetrazolium dye reduction by diabetic did differ from controls. Leukotactic responsiveness in is similar described adult may explain, at least part, severity chronicity infections suffered patients.
