摘要: A method of screening potential recipients an implantable medication infusion system including implanted intraperitoneal catheter is disclosed which seeks to select only those candidates who will have a high degree resistance blockage due fibrotic tissue growth. By checking certain physical parameters in for catheter, and by declining implant higher than desirable levels the parameters, survival patients chosen maximized. The four used are blood triglyceride level, cholesterol level insulin dosage per day, mean glucose (MBG) with first two being more accurate parameters.
