摘要: For the successful survival of a species it is imperative that animals be in perfect harmony with their environment. The environment essentially cyclic nature, major periodicities deriving from rotation earth around its axis (daily changes) and sun (annual also moon (monthly changes). adaptation organisms to cyclicity reflected wide spread occurrence daily/circadian, lunar annual/circannual cycles at almost all levels, sub-cellular, physiological behavioral. Reproduction wild vertebrates, subject seasonally changing environment, thus predominantly periodic phenomenon. As we go away polar region towards tropics seasons are less due temperature more wetness dryness. But our understanding how have coped this environmental challenge amazingly poor.
