摘要: The National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) launched Advanced Earth Observing Satellite (ADEOS) on 1996. One the core sensors was Ocean Color and Temperature Scanner (OCTS), which measured sea surface chlorophyll concentration after 10 years blank from Coastal Zone (CZCS) Nimbus-7. Although ADEOS stopped operation with only 8 months, OCTS supplied more ocean color data, covered globally high resolution, than CZCS operation. mission successfully followed by SeaWiFS a two-month gap. NASDA is now planning Global Imager (GLI) ADEOS-II in 2002 Super-GLI (S-GLI) GCOM. time series those missions supply possible global changes phytoplankton biomass primary production scale. Examples application, including estimation, will be given as well GLI S-GLI plan.
