The effect of anisotropy on the propagation of linear compressional waves in magnetic flux tubes: Applications to astrophysical plasmas

摘要: The propagation of linear compressional waves is studied in magnetic flux tubes. plasma inside and outside the tube considered to be rarefied which confers an anisotropic character plasma. anisotropy appears at different temperatures for parallel perpendicular directions relative ambient field. theoretical results are applied study effects equilibrium steady flow on wave structures such as coronal plumes, geomagnetic tail astrophysical jets. obtained show that internal and/or external has a very important effect waves. presence certain applications can change dramatically modes.
