摘要: Rice husk reinforced polyethylene composites and their test specimens were manufactured using a single screw extruder an injection molding machine respectively. Raw rice was chemically treated with benzene diazonium salt in alkali, acidic neutral media separately. Both raw used as filler. Four levels of filler loading (25, 30, 35 40 wt%) during composite manufacturing. Microstructural analysis mechanical tests conducted. Alkali yielded the best set properties, while had worst ones. Based on loading, 35% optimum properties among all manufactured.
