摘要: Abstract Adsorption and desorption behavior of dodecylbenzenesulfonate on kaolinite was investigated under carefully controlled conditions pH, ionic strength, dissolved mineral species. The nature the adsorption maximum hysteresis obtained is found to strongly depend pH change that occurs during equilibration dilution. Interestingly, can be positive or negative depending mainly perturbations take place experiment. results are examined basis available data for pH-dependent dissolution equilibria kaolinite. Kaolinite subsequent sulfonate precipitation redissolution identified major factors in determining abstraction this system. Many complex interactions involved surfactant adsorption; studies along with have proved a powerful tool studying mechanisms involved.
