摘要: The purpose of this study was to define the expression P-glycoprotein (P-gp) in healthy donors as well children’s and adults’ leukemia cases. Expression P-gp evaluated with three monoclonal antibodies (MAbs); C219, JSB-1, MRK-16 immunocytochemical (IC) APAAP staining technique. Seventy-eight patients: 45 children, 33 adults 27 normal entered study. Twenty-seven donors’ peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) were investigated by means IC FACScan analysis. Positive for detected 31% 33% samples IC. No reactivity MAbs observed PBMC Flow cytometry analysis C219 MAb revealed present on a subpopulation lymphocytes monocytes. (+) (−) cases compared respect clinical outcome, French-American-British (FAB) classification group. Complete remission (CR) achieved 12/14 (85%) 9/11 (81%) Within cases, CR 24/29 (82%) 18/22 (81%), respectively. Partial remission, relapse, resistance, death registered 14% 18% samples.
