摘要: The opening up of the top-level domain name market in 2012 has offered new perspectives for companies, administrations and individuals to include a geographic component within their website. Little no research been carried out since then analyse uptake names (TLDNs). Based on specific case TLDN .brussels, this article proposes an empirical study how actually impacts registration practices. By making use freely available software tools such as OpenRefine Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods, entire corpus .brussels (6 300) was analysed from quantitative perspective. statistically representative sample (592 domain names), qualitative interpretation allowed more fine-grained analysis is being used practice. doing so, gives detailed insight into impact recent changes rules concerning registration.
