摘要: Health-related behaviors such as tobacco, alcohol and other substance use, poor diet physical inactivity, risky sexual practices are important targets for research intervention. especially pertinent in the United States, which lags behind most developed nations on common markers of population health. In this essay we examine application behavioral economics, a scientific discipline that represents intersection economics psychology, to study promotion health-related behavior change. More specifically, review what consider be some core dimensions when applied Behavioral (1) provides novel conceptual systems inform understanding health behaviors, (2) translates into practical effective behavior-change interventions, (3) leverages varied aspects change beyond increases or decreases frequency, (4) recognizes exploits trans-disease processes (5) technology efforts maximize efficacy, cost effectiveness, reach. These overviewed their implications future field discussed.
