摘要: In this article, we discuss and highlight some of the potential neurochemical underpinnings bipolar disorder (BD) epilepsy. Some similarities are found in both disorders, such as episodic course illnesses, possible mechanism kindling, efficacy antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) treatment, all pointing to a common underlying pathophysiology. Common mechanisms at level ion channels might include antikindling calcium-antagonistic potassium outward current-modulating properties AEDs. However, future research on intracellular become decisive for better understanding between disorders.
