摘要: This research relates to the preparation and characterization of surface grafted poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) poly(carboxylic acid)-micron-size iron particles via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). The polymers-iron result in multifunctional materials which can be used biomedical applications. functionalities consist cell targeting, imaging, drug delivery, immunological response. are synthesized two steps. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy scanning electron microscopy were confirm presence polymers particles. thickness glass transition temperature determined by transmission (TEM) differential calorimetry (DSC). covalent bond between caused higher as compared with non-grafted polymers. ability target bio-molecule provide fluorescent imaging was simulated rat immunoglobulin fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) labeled anti-rat. fluorescence intensity using flow cytometry conjugated IgG-FITC anti-rat imaged a microscopy.
