摘要: This work is a brief account of the most recent developments observed in application ZnO nanostructured materials excitonic solar cells (organic, hybrid and dye sensitized cells). Special emphasis made to one-dimensional (1D), vertically-aligned nanostructures (nanowires NW, nanorods NR) semiconductor oxide extensive research invested years for its as an electron acceptor material cells. Our aim give reader broad overview this understand causes, advantages disadvantages, well-aligned nanostructure form. We briefly describe applied methodologies synthesis well effect on surface area, transport charge recombination when it (XSCs). The importance low-cost easy-scalable techniques, stability issues these are discussed. Finally, we include analysis possible future trends interesting XSCs.
