摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate range motion and patient-reported outcome after complete arthroscopic release post-traumatic elbow contracture. Fourteen consecutive patients who underwent arthroscopy capsular were reviewed retrospectively at a minimum follow-up 1 year. Pain measured. Patient assessed with the American Shoulder Elbow Surgeons Assessment Form. Mean self-reported satisfaction on visual analog scale 8.4 out 10. Only 6 continued have pain, mean maximum pain score 4.6 Flexion increased from 117.5 degrees 133 degrees, extension improved 35.4 9.3 degrees. In those preoperative arc less than 100 (10 patients), 69 119 All had function procedure, functional ability 28.3 30. There no neurovascular complications. improvement in compares favorably open-release procedures. Combined potential benefits joint visualization low surgical morbidity, contracture appears be reasonable alternative open techniques.
