摘要: In this paper, design consideration of a surface plasmon photonic crystal fiber (PCF) biosensor for Glucose monitoring is presented and analyzed. Based on well-known large mode area (LMA) PCF, two different configurations have been studied to investigate the effect etching process. The numerical results show that plasmonic D-shaped PCF after three rows air holes can achieve sensitivity 200 nm/RIU with corresponding resolution 1.3 ×10−3 RIU−1. analysis carried out using full vectorial finite element method (FVFEM) perfect matched layer (PML) boundary conditions.
