摘要: The ability of amino acids inhibitory lysine transport into brain slices to induce imbalance was determined by feeding wheat gluten or casein diets with additions such acids. Lysine only moderately inhibited acids; the most effective were basic mixtures indispensable (IAA) branched chain acid (BCAA). Only mild depressions in growth and food intake occurred during a 10-day period when male, 60--65 g rats Sprague-Dawley strain fed lysine-limiting, 18% these effects prevented added lysine. Rats allowed choice between lysine-imbalanced non-protein selected imbalanced, (in severe imbalances will choose diet). Growth depression, lysine, 6% diet supplemented IAA; individual ineffective. also basal containing case + 5% an equimolar mixture nine IAA arginine more BCAA less effective. Additional completely depressions, but greater than that those extra IAA. It is difficult imbalance; this consistent failure cause under our conditions strong inhibition brain.
