摘要: Protein–protein interactions (PPIs) are involved at all levels of cellular organization, thus making the development PPI inhibitors extremely valuable. The identification selective is challenging because shallow and extended nature interfaces. Inhibitors can be obtained by mimicking peptide binding epitopes in their bioactive conformation. For this purpose, several strategies have been evolved to enable a projection side chain functionalities analogy secondary structures, thereby yielding molecules that generally referred as peptidomimetics. Herein, we introduce new classification peptidomimetics (classes A–D) enables clear assignment available approaches. Based on classification, Review summarizes applied for structure-based design through stabilizing or turns, β-sheets, helices.
