Photoluminescence, thermal properties and energy transfer mechanism of Ce3+, Tb3+ co-activated Sr8Si4O12Cl8 phosphor

摘要: Abstract A series of chlorosilicate Sr 8(1 −  x  −  y ) Si 4 O 12 Cl 8 : x Ce 3+ , Tb (0 ≤  ≤ 0.04, 0 ≤  y  ≤ 0.06) phosphors were synthesized by solid state reaction. XRD, diffuse reflection spectra, excitation and emission spectra thermal quenching are used to investigate the structure, photoluminescence properties. The results show that doped can be efficiently excited UV light from 250 370 nm, present a broad band 340 550 nm. With doping energy transfer obviously occurs, mechanism is carefully studied luminescence energy-transfer efficiency decay times. By adjusting ratio /Tb color locates at purplish blue, cold white yellow-green region with chromaticity coordinates changing (0.18, 0.13) (0.35, 0.47). indicate samples SSL: could serve as promising single phase emitting phosphor.
