摘要: A method for detecting a failure network terminal in Passive Optical Network includes: changing timeslots assigned to potential terminals one by one; and determining the according uplink data frames sent whose are changed. Embodiments of present invention also disclose an apparatus system terminal. The solution may detect which Unit/Terminal (ONU/ONT) fails perform corresponding processing accordance with embodiments invention, recovers health improves security, stability self-healing ability.
