摘要: Summary— A study has been carried out on the actions of prostaglandins E2 and F2α their synthesis inhibitors, indomethacin diclofenac sodium, upon isolated human ureteric smooth muscle, using technique microsuperfusion designed to ensure good tissue viability. Indomethacin sodium were shown abolish almost completely contractile response muscle electrical field stimulation. Contractile activity, in presence could be restored by prostaglandin or increasing external potassium concentration, [K+]o, superfusate. Prostaglandin alone increase dramatically both phasic tonic component electrically stimulated contractions, occasions inducing spontaneous activity. A possible mechanism action was elucidated with an electrophysiological intracellular microelectrodes. The mean membrane potential recorded 54.7 mV (SD ± 10 mV, n=15). depolarising raising [K+]o demonstrated (3 times 10-6M) produce a small depolarisation cell membrane.
