摘要: The magnetic resonance spectra of manganese fluosilicate and ammonium sulphate have been analyzed using centimetre wave-lengths. It is shown that the splitting $^{6}$S state due mainly to non-cubic symmetry crystalline field; effect cubic field, hitherto assumed be dominant, appears only as a small correction. show consistent with mechanism suggested by Abragam & Pryce (1951), where it attributed interaction between five electrons constituting state. An extensive hyperfine structure resolved, nuclear spin ($\frac{5}{2}$) $^{55}$Mn confirmed. spectroscopic factor, g, 2$\cdot $000 $\pm $ 0$\cdot $001, very close free-spin value. energy levels in zero field are evaluated for sulphate.
