摘要: In this article, the authors explore definition of a knowledge society and why such is desirable in development nations. First, paper reviews literature on societies notes gap qualitative approaches which are amenable for framing policies. The then describe conceptual framework that depicts terms 13 dimensions span infrastructure, governance, human capital culture. This validated with published proxy indicators from reputable sources as United Nations World Bank. field exercise, determines usability policy discussion using Singapore, Nigeria, States Arab Emirates foci our analysis. conclude by suggesting useful policy-makers other stake-holders to understand evolution journey requires benchmarks, environmental intelligence an emphasis tacit structure sustainable advantage.
