摘要: Abstract The selection of an alternative based on the results a comparative environmental assessment such as life cycle (LCA), input-output analysis (EIOA) or integrated modelling (IAM) is challenging because most times there no single best option. Most cases contain trade-offs between criteria, uncertainty in performances and multiple diverse values from decision makers. To circumvent these challenges, method analysis, namely stochastic multi attribute (SMAA), has been proposed instead. SMAA performs aggregation that partially compensatory (hence, closer to strong sustainability perspective), incorporates performance assessment, free external normalization references allows for uncertainties maker preferences. This paper presents thorough introduction decision-support, provides mathematical fundamentals offers Excel platform easy implementation access.
