摘要: Fine-particulate pollution is a major public health concern in China. Accurate assessment of the population exposed to PM2.5 requires high-resolution and information. This paper assesses China’s potential exposure PM2.5, maps its spatiotemporal variability, simulates effects recent air control policy. We relate satellite-based Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) retrievals ground-based observations. employ block cokriging (BCK) improve spatial interpolation distribution. use subdistrict level data estimate map China at level, smallest administrative unit with demographic During 8 April 2013 7 2014, population-weighted annual average concentration was nearly times suggested by World Health Organization (WHO). About 1322 million people, or 98.6% total population, were levels above WHO’s daily guideline for longer than half year. If can achieve Action Plan on Prevention Control Air Pollution targets 2017, standard year will be reduced 85%.
