摘要: A new bio-based oil, tea oil (TO), was studied as possible alternative processing to the commonly used but potentially carcinogenic petroleum-based oils, viz. heavy naphthenic (HNO) and light (LNO). Comparison also made with two other palm (PO) coconut (CO). The results revealed that all oils exhibit higher thermal stability than LNO and, in case of silica-filled natural rubber (NR), provide superior properties over oils. These include stability, greater mixing efficiency NR silica, improved silica dispersion compound plasticising effect for compounds when compared under similar condition. For cure characteristics compounds, they are not significantly affected by type content. show potential studied, TO, PO CO, replace
