Discussion: Pros and Cons of the Various Approaches

摘要: This report provides a summary of the issues raised in an afternoon discussion at First Invitational Workshop on Database Security, hosted by SRI International Menlo Park, CA. The topic was to review pros and cons various approaches design secure database systems as described speakers that morning. However, actual quickly narrowed problems aggregation inference, particularly with regards proposals for handling these described. Because topics became primary areas study throughout workshop, session below must be regarded only preliminary were explored greater detail (and collective insight!) later sessions. For this reason, we have felt it appropriate append section entitled “retrospective,” relating during our insights gained workshop.
