Alternative sample types in regional geochemical prospecting

摘要: Abstract Regional geochemical prospecting based on stream sediments in regions covered by glacial till suffers from certain disadvantages. This paper compares results the analysis of two other sampling media, organic material and waters, with data obtained previously sediments. The test area is located northern Sweden. Several types mineralization occur area, none as yet mined. They include Cu, Zn, Pb, Mo, W U. About 1000 sites were sampled for sediments, water. distribution patterns ore element contents have been studied. Applying factor analysis, it was found that content limonite influenced variation elements. To take this into consideration, corrections analytical values introduced using regression analysis. Comparison three media mineralizations showed general best information samples.
