The dynamics of fear at the time of COVID-19: A contextual behavioral science perspective

摘要: COVID-19 is the relevant disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) transmitted via close contact between persons. On March 12th, 2020, WHO announced outbreak a pandemic, in view of its worldwide escalation. As pandemic explodes, parallel fear and worry also spreading. We react to symbolically, arbitrarily relating it other objects events through derived verbal relations, so language may alter way we experience consequently affects how are functionally or dysfunctionally oriented world around us. In this paper will outline different human learning processes connected responding, from simplest type more complex cognitive ones, approaching them point contextual behavioral science, modern form thinking. model intervention foster psychological flexibility functional value-based actions. argue that post-pandemic phase could be key for adapting new changed circumstances.
