摘要: BACKGROUND: Children and young people with long term physical health conditions are at increased risk of experiencing mental wellbeing difficulties. However, there is a lack research that explores the experiences of, attitudes towards interventions aiming to improve their wellbeing. This systematic review seeks address this gap in literature by exploring what children conditions, caregivers practitioners perceive be important aspects // METHODS: An information specialist searched five academic databases using pre-defined criteria for qualitative evaluations or conditions. Reviewers also performed supplementary citation grey searches. Two reviewers independently screened titles, abstracts full texts which met inclusion conducted data extraction quality assessment. Meta-ethnography was used synthesise findings. RESULTS: Screening identified 60 relevant articles. We overarching constructs through synthesis: i) Getting In Staying In, ii) Therapeutic Foundation, iii) Social Support, iv) A Hopeful Alternative v) Empowerment. The line argument links these together indicates when can provide an environment allows share build empathetic relationships; it enable participants access social support increase feelings hope empowerment.
