摘要: While designing the Compliant Mechanisms (CM), an equal attention is required on both problem formulation and optimization algorithm used. Authors of this paper have successfully proposed CM tracing user-defined paths based precision points. In paper, authors modify NSGA-II by incorporating (i) a helper objective (ii) domain specific crossover which assist in generating diverse set non-dominated solutions. First, single-objective minimizing weight structure solved named topology as reference design. Thereafter, bi-objective dealt to evolve 'trade-off' solutions for primary secondary maximizing diversity with respect Both problems are using local search procedure. This study has further compared its results another GA implementation having different operator.
