摘要: Transient streptococcal bacteriaemias are a frequent sequel to dental extractions especially when the mouth is seat of severe chronic gum infection. Bacteria may also gain admission blood-stream in such cases irrespective operative procedures and probably as result, many instances, minor degrees injury produced by biting on loose tooth. Acute apical infections do not appear be associated with blood infection this kind, focus here apparently being effectively "walled off" inflammatory reaction.Of two factors, trauma, involved production these post-operative bacteriaemias, appears more important since, it marked, very slight sufficient produce invasion. In complete absence, however, type trauma induced "rocking" tooth during its removal, extraction accomplished without producing heavy bacterial shower blood.Usually transient no permanent ill-effect, but there some evidence that, occurring subjects abnormal heart valves, they lead subacute infective endocarditis. Thirteen reported where valvular appeared result from bacteriaemia.Prevention achieved reduction or elimination trauma. Complete difficult although preliminary treatment margin measure cauterization lessen shower. Similarly, manipulating an infected little possible incidence degree decreased.
