摘要: Residual stresses in railroad wheel rims significantly affect the failure life; therefore, it is important to consider residual for analysis. In this paper, an advanced computational methodology developed estimate during both manufacturing process and under service conditions. To wheel, three-dimensional decoupled thermal-structural analyses are performed. simulate process, thermal analysis performed with convection boundary conditions on surfaces.
