Deeply inelastic scattering of /sup 84/Kr from /sup 208/Pb

摘要: We report here energy spectra and angular distributions for deeply inelastic scattering of /sup 84/Kr from 208/Pb at laboratory energies 494, 510, 718 MeV. The process is found to be the dominant reaction all investigated. At highest bombarding most probable kinetic component becomes progressively larger as grazing angle approached, in contrast near barrier where remains more nearly independent angle. A semiclassical calculation distributions, employing deflection functions calculated an optical model potential that reproduced elastic this system, shown reproduce lower energies. (AIP)
